About

One honest number, drawn clearly

Data Doodle builds true-profit analytics for Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy brands — the money that's actually left after COGS, fees, shipping, refunds, and ads.

We started with a frustration every 7–8 figure seller knows: six dashboards, one spreadsheet you don't quite trust, and a gut feeling that the numbers being celebrated aren't the numbers that matter.

ROAS looks great. Revenue is up. And yet the bank account disagrees. The gap between those two facts is what Data Doodle exists to close — by calculating true profit per product, per channel, per campaign, every day, with the real costs included.

The "doodle" half is deliberate. Financial tools are usually either beautiful-but-vague or precise-but-hostile. We want both: dashboards you can read at a glance, with hand-drawn arrows pointing exactly at the thing you should look at next.

How we work

We're a small, early-stage company. The product is in private beta, builds ship weekly, and our changelog tells the truth about what's new. Store and ad-platform connections roll out as each platform approves access; until then the app runs on clearly labeled demo data.

Principles we build by

Show the ugly numbers first.

A dashboard that only celebrates is a marketing asset, not a tool. If a campaign is losing money, you should know before your accountant does.

No vanity metrics on the main screen.

Revenue is the tax bracket of metrics — nice to see, useless to steer by. Profit, margin, and days of cover run the show here.

Explain, don't just display.

Every chart gets a plain-language reason for what changed. Data should come with a sentence, not a riddle.

Your data is yours.

Read-only connections, export anytime, delete everything in one click. If you leave, your data leaves with you.

Numbers you can argue with — in the good way.
